Who is the most likely?
President Uhuru’s official political party, Jubilee have made their suggestions.
In search of Azimio La Umoja’s running mate to Raila, forming political parties were recently asked to nominate their preferred running mates.
A committee was formed to vet for Raila’s running mate. However, in their first sitting, the committee demanded that all parties in Azimio should nominate their candidates.
In response, Jubilee has nominated former MP, Peter Kenneth and the current Murang’a Women Representative, Sabina Chege as their preferred candidates.
The two politicians are from Mt. Kenya and are equally capable of serving as vice president.
Jubilee has made its first move ahead of ODM and other parties forming Azimio.
It is also yet to be decided who the Kenya Kwanza running mate will be. Ruto and his allies have however made it clear that they do not need vetting to choose a running mate.
Does it mean that they already have a candidate?
