Happy Mother’s Day!
8th May 2022 is set as mother’s day. In this day, we celebrate our mothers, sisters, wives, friends, workmates, and ourselves as mothers.
Who is a mother? Earlier today while crossing the Facebook streets saw a discussion about who should be posted on the mother’s day.
A sizeable number of men felt that only their biological or guardian mothers needed posting or celebration. They felt that their wives were not mothers in this perspective.
I felt the need to clear such confusion as a writer.
A mother is anyone, young or old, who has bore and/or reared children. A mother is also anyone who has provided warmth and nurturing skills. A mother contributes and changes our lives.
All mothers, responsible or not need to be celebrated. Giving birth or rearing children is no joke. It is a respect-deserving project.
Let us learn to appreciate all our mothers, without restricting our limits to the maternal mothers.
