Sensational Tiktok user Alvan Love had a negative experience with NHIF services. In a short tiktok video, the Radio host laments about how the government insurance program is forsaking patients.
Talking from a personal experience, Alvan who was taking his mother for dialysis was frustrated. He mentioned that a dialysis patients are also asked to wait for hours before service approval.
In the video, the entertainer demands to know what the government want with patients. Despite having paid for monthly insurance premiums, the insured still do not get the intended services. Alvan also provide that the people supposed to approve the required services are always attending endless meetings.
Additionally, these individuals never use the insurance services. They rather seek medical advice outside the country. This is an apparent indication that the service providers do not value patients’ health.
The Radio host called out the government for hiring incompetent personnel to deliver crucial services.
